Our Advocates

Role of Advocates

Our Voice’s Advocacy service is funded by Big Lottery and Comic Relief. The projects began in May 2007 and June 2009 respectively.

We have 3 advocates working on the projects – their names are Ruth Godden, Doris Hill and Astrid Orme.

The advocates are all very good communicators and can use BSL to a high standard and are able to work with anyone who is D/deaf, deafened or Deafblind.
